A gorgeous antique 1800's ormolu vinaigrette or chatelaine sachet or scent compact with jewels.

It's in excellent condition, with no damage; and is extremely rare.  It measures approximately 2 inches in diameter, not including the clasp and chatelaine chain. The chain adds an additional 4 inch drop from the top of the compact.

This piece is a gold ormolu metal with six round blue jewel stones and a central teardrop amethyst stone. It has intricate ormolu filigree all over the piece; including the edges.

It's a gorgeous and very unique piece that would have been used to add your perfumed or scented sponge or sachet inside. The piece comes in a white organza gift pouch.
